Congrats on your new deal and sincerely I cannot tell if you have signed yet but I really which you haven’t.
You both have come a long way underground, you have been able to keep the spirit up and worked very hard to deserve the attention you’re getting from music lovers and the street as a whole.
I just hope and pray you don’t sign a deal that will dim the shinning light of your music career at the moment.
You still have a long way to go, so you both need to think before you sign any deal.
DMW/AMW Deal – You’re Not Signing To Davido Directly
First, take note that you are signing to Aloma(Davido’s PA) Record label AMW (Aloma Music Worldwide) and not DMW directly.
A label with no experience at all and no funding source is nothing but a complete waste of time and effort.
How would you even put your entire career in the hands of someone who feeds on another man’s shit.
You Grew Without A Label
Not every artistes needs a label to survive, you guys shouldn’t be desperate to sign anyhow deal.
If you can get to this level all alone without any label you should know steady release of good songs will take you farther.
Remember Oladips was hotter before he got signed to Reminisce‘s record label and you guys are also aware of what happened to him in the label.
It’s Better To Remain Unsigned Than Sign To An Unstructured Label
If you must sign any record deal at all, you should sign to a record label that is well organized and well setup.
A label that has a working blue-print of music release and promotional plan.
You should sign to a label that will not rob you of your talent in the name of helping you.
Don’t forget, Aloma who signed you is on Davido‘s payroll and felt like using you guys to do side hustle.
We have seen fast-rising artistes like you guys who got signed under big names in the industry but still came back to cry about being taken advantage of.
